Mirror on the Wall

The mirror
Facing the mirror on the wall –
Which reflection am I?
The same dark eyes,
Biting smile,
Loosened curls, tangled
In their own conflicts.

I am scattered far more
Than the rays of the sun;
At least they fall evenly
Not jagged, as my own.
I still question if each person
Is me,
Or am I a daydream in myself
Pretending semblance?

The glass shattered.
Fancies dissolved.
My reality was scripted
Staged, on an open theater
Left, to be figured out
By me.
