I’m losing a million sunshines
Amidst footprints on the shores.
I’m loosing the whispering sea-breeze
Carousing, like a half-sung ode.
I’m singing a haunting measure,
On a palette of blue and gold.
I create your cavernous portrait,
With words in letters, turned old.
I’m living a gray-scale daydream
With colours all sucked away.
I’m wishing for a hopeless fancy,
A fantasy, at play.
I’m chasing the ebbing skyline
With a pocket of rainbow hues.
I measure my trouncing heartbeats
Reverberating through the moors.
